The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of building systems and infrastructure to ensure efficient, safe, and sustainable facility operations. This role involves troubleshooting, upgrading, and optimizing various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and security systems.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and enhance system efficiency.
Manage facility projects, including renovations, installations, and upgrades, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.
Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving initiatives to improve sustainability.
Prepare reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, and operational costs.
Support emergency response efforts related to facility infrastructure and system failures.
Recommend and implement improvements for facility operations, efficiency, and cost control.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or maintenance engineering.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance activities.
Understanding of energy management principles and sustainability practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, building management systems (BMS), and other relevant engineering tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
