Position: Mechanical Engineer – Technical Office.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our Technical Office team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure projects and technical office tasks including design review, coordination, quantity surveying, and preparing shop drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Review mechanical designs and shop drawings.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Prepare material submittals and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Support site teams with technical queries and updates.
Involve in cost estimation and quantity take-off if required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Total experience: Minimum 7 years

Infrastructure projects experience: At least 4 years
.
Technical office experience: Minimum 3 years
.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Previous experience in GCC or Saudi Arabia is a plus.
Skills
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in infrastructure projects (e.g., piping, HVAC, plumbing).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and drafting tools.
Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
Good understanding of quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.
Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
PMP or equivalent project management knowledge is a plus.
Previous experience in the GCC region is preferred.
