Position: Mechanical Engineer QC (Saudi National)
Job Description
Parsons is looking for Mechanical Engineer – QC to join our Facility Management team on the Qiddiya program!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform quality control inspections and testing of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and quality standards.
- Identify and report non-conformances, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare detailed quality control reports and documentation for management review.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of the project.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as required.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
- Typically, 8+ years of related work experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within facility departments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, quality control processes, and engineering standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, etc.) is preferred.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
- Fully familiar with PTW, LOTO, CAFM, and site safety procedures.
- Understand applicable codes and standards for the discipline.
- Have working knowledge of FLS and HVAC mechanical systems.
- Hands‑on experience in preparing and implementing PPM schedules.
