We are seeking a motivated and energetic Junior HVAC / Mechanical Engineer to join our site engineering team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a fresh graduate or an engineer with up to 2 years of experience looking to build a strong foundation in MEP construction, HVAC installation, and site supervision.
Working under the guidance of Senior Mechanical Engineers, you will assist in site execution, reviewing shop drawings, monitoring sub-contractors, and ensuring HVAC installations comply with design specifications and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision & Coordination: Assist senior engineers in daily site inspections to monitor the installation of HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
- Drawing & Design Support: Prepare AutoCAD shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and material submittals against project specifications and local codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
- Material Management: Track site material deliveries, inspect incoming HVAC equipment for quality, and prepare daily site progress logs and quantity take-offs.
- Testing & Inspection: Participate in Joint Site Inspections with client consultants and assist during the testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Support site safety compliance by ensuring technicians and subcontractors strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
- Documentation: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site queries (RFIs), and maintain accurate project record logs.
