Job
Purpose
This position exists to perform mechanical engineering tasks efficiently, in a timely manner, and to quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Functional Responsibilities
Planning and Delivery:
• Perform the planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Reporting:
• Generate reports and present information to upper-level managers or other parties.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
Customer Relations:
• Understand customer needs and requirements and act accordingly in line with standards and best practices.
Financial:
• Monitor and control expenses and budgets to achieve cost efficiency.
Risk Mitigation:
• Anticipate problems and take proactive steps to prevent them.
Adaptation:
• Adapt to alternative technologies, management structures, and communication methods.
Systems:
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
Policy and Procedures:
• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Development:
• Enhance work results and develop initiatives to improve department performance.
