Mechanical Engineer Jobs in جدة at CCE Contracting & Construction Enterprises
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure proper execution of works.
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection systems, and other mechanical works.
- Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
- Monitor site activities and conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, material approvals, RFIs, and inspection requests.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Review and verify mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and installation procedures.
- Monitor testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.
- Identify site issues, propose solutions, and support project completion within the required timeline.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical works within construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Good understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in GCC construction projects is preferred.
Preferred Certifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and local codes.
- Experience with high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or large-scale construction projects.
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and construction documentation.
