Policies, Processes and Procedures
Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manners
Day- to-day operations
Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Inspection and Evaluation
• Support inspection department to ensure thorough mechanical inspections of equipment and facilities to assess their integrity.
• Recommend non-destructive testing methods and technologies to identify potential issues.
• Analyze inspection and non-destructive testing results and data
• Recommend non-destructiie testing methods and technologies to identify potential issues.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
• Perform risk assessments on mechanical assets to identify vulnerabilities and potential failure modes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk miligation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review all previous assessment findings and remedial actions to evaluate the progress or the completion of recommendations.
• Prioritize recommendation based on risk assessment and identify measures to mitigate such risk.
Corrosion Management
• Support corrosion monitoring programs to prevent and mitigate the impact of corrosion on mechanical systems.
• Develop corrosion management plans and recommend materials and coatings for corrosion resistance.
• Collaborate with corrosion engineers and specialists as needed.
• Support development of corrosion management plans and recommend materials and coatings for corrosion resistance.
Lifecycle Management
• Assess the lifecycle of mechanical assets and develop plans for
maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate reliability considerations into the design and modification of assets.
• Provide input on the procurement of materials and components for optimal asset performance.
Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, assessments, and maintenance activities for mechanical assets.
• Generate comprehensive reports on the mechanical integrity status of assets.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, fostering continuous improvement.
• Support the creation of standard operating procedures and guidelines for maintaining mechanical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections reports, performance assessments, and maintenance activities for mechanical assets.
Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure mechanical assets comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about changes in mechanical engineering codes and standards, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Work with regulatory bodies to address compliance concerns and
implement best practices.
Reporting
• Prepares seclion reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards
Safety, Health & Environment
Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
