Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Dubai at Loft Contracting LLC
Job Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise mechanical works at construction sites.
* Plan, coordinate and monitor all mechanical activities.
* Review and interpret MEP, HVAC, plumbing and firefighting drawings.
* Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other site teams.
* Ensure all mechanical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
* Monitor site progress and prepare regular progress reports.
* Coordinate material requirements, inspections and approvals.
* Conduct site inspections and ensure proper quality standards are maintained.
* Identify technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for solutions.
* Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defence, municipality and other authority requirements.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed within the required schedule.
* Attend technical meetings and coordinate with project management and consultants.
* Maintain proper documentation, inspection requests and technical records.
* Ensure compliance with HSE and site safety requirements.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction.
* Strong experience in MEP / HVAC / Plumbing / Fire Fighting systems.
* Good knowledge of mechanical installation, testing and commissioning.
* Experience working with consultants and subcontractors.
* Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and standards.
* Ability to read and understand shop drawings, IFC drawings and technical specifications.
* Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
* UAE Driving License will be an advantage.
* Candidates with Dubai Municipality / relevant authority approval will be preferred.
* Candidates available for immediate joining are preferred.
