About the role :
Plan, organize, and provide system engineering support and supervision for the operation, maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of the mechanical systems.
Manage, monitor, and improve FM contractors’ maintenance delivery while ensuring compliance with best mechanical industry practices, local and international standards.
Perform toolbox talks/briefings to guide and support staff and contractors in their day-to-day activities.
Perform quality assurance audits for all mechanical systems to ensure proper maintenance is performed and implement any necessary improvements.
Review and validate newly developed design and construction documents to confirm code compliance and infrastructure readiness.
Prepare, coordinate, and assist in the preparation of budgets, reports, presentations, approval processes, technical specifications, facilities management contract documents, tender documents, operation and maintenance manuals, and SOPs in alignment with the Asset Management System.
Study and analyze mechanical assets to implement control measures and improvement projects aimed at reducing asset failure risks, lowering lifecycle costs, and ensuring proper planning of capital asset replacements.
Perform other departmental duties related to this position as directed by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
About you :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of best maintenance practices for all types of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Servicing and maintenance of all mechanical systems as per OEM recommendations and international standards.
Troubleshooting of all mechanical systems.
Experience working at an airport.
Experience leading teams of supervisors and workers.
Relevant experience in contract management.
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of all mechanical systems.
