In this role, you will be the final gatekeeper of manufacturability—transforming raw models into production-ready assemblies. You will focus heavily on fit, function, and modern manufacturing techniques, ensuring our designs are not just theoretical but buildable.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Assembly Finishing: Refine existing 3D models and complete mechanical assemblies by integrating standard components (fasteners, washers, bearings) to ensure a manufacturing-ready design.
- Technical Documentation: Generate high-precision 2D technical drawings from 3D models, ensuring clarity for machinists and production teams.
- Tolerance & Fit Management: Apply correct fits and geometric tolerances for shafts, bearings, and bearing housings to ensure smooth mechanical movement and proper assembly.
