Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Mechanical Designer/Interior Designer role is based in Dammam. The role involves developing detailed mechanical and interior design drawings, layouts, and 3D models that align with project specifications, codes, and company standards. The designer will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to refine design concepts, coordinate mechanical systems with interior elements, and ensure constructability. Daily tasks include preparing and updating CAD drawings, reviewing design changes, supporting material selection, and producing technical documentation for approvals and execution.
The role also includes participating in design reviews, resolving design‑related queries from site teams, and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in design practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical design solutions.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works, Revit, or similar) for creating accurate 2D and 3D models.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including exploring new materials, methods, and design approaches to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Background or demonstrated interest in interior design, including space planning, finishes, and coordination of mechanical elements within interior layouts.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to interpret and produce technical documentation and construction drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and respond to on‑site design queries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations applicable to mechanical and interior design projects.
