WE ARE HIRING – MECHANICAL BIM MODELER
Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC – Dubai is looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our team.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: 2–3 Years UAE Experience
Employment Type: Full-Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain accurate Mechanical BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Create detailed 3D models for HVAC and mechanical systems based on design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Model HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, drainage, equipment, and other mechanical systems.
- Prepare mechanical BIM layouts, shop drawings, sections, details, and coordinated drawings.
- Coordinate mechanical models with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and design conflicts.
- Update BIM models based on engineering revisions, site conditions, and project requirements.
- Extract drawings, schedules, quantities, and other required information from BIM models.
- Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modelling requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain model accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM coordinators, and site teams to resolve technical and modelling issues.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Practical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, piping, ductwork, and other mechanical systems.
- Good understanding of BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, modelling practices, and coordination procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
