We Ms. Abdulla Mohammed Noor Saadat Properties, owner of many buildings in Dubai are looking for a skilled and experienced *Foreman-Building Maintenance* to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, facilities management, or building maintenance, and possess excellent leadership skills.
This role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring that all building systems are running smoothly and that the property is well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of building maintenance and repair activities.
– Oversee all aspects of building infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural maintenance.
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and health standards.
– Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs.
– Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
– Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
– Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
– Respond to emergency maintenance requests and oversee the resolution of issues promptly.
– Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and service reports.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Building Supervisor, Facilities Manager, or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.).
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
– Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
– Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
– Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with tenants, contractors, and management.
– Relevant certifications or licenses in building maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or Engineering is a plus).
– Minimum 2-7 years of experience in building maintenance role.
– Minimum 2 years of experience in Dubai.
