Job Responsibilities
Monitor mechanic and Jr. mechanic’s performance.
Complete all planned and scheduled maintenance to ensure properly working machines.
Fix all damaged or scheduled parts to ensure they are ready for use whenever required.
Maintain, repair, and install electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs and breakdowns for proper documentation and follow-up.
HSE (Health, Safety, Environment)
Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental control procedures and instructions.
Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks.
Keep operational areas clean and well-organized to prevent incidents and accidents.
Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and machinery in good working order.
Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations.
Job Relevant Information
The jobholder is responsible for the proper maintenance of all machines.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Required Qualifications:
Mechanical Diploma or Technical Degree.
Minimum Experience:
At least 6-7 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
Experience as Supervisor / Team Leader / Shift Leader in an industrial factory is preferred.
Job-Specific
Skills:
Knowledge of plant and production equipment.
Knowledge of bearing & shaft alignments and their assembling.
Knowledge of compressor, pump, and gearbox assemblies.
Knowledge of crane repairs.
Ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic drawings, standards, and codifications.
Ability to use all workshop tools (handling sets, welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, turning, shaping).
Ability to use all measuring tools (Calipers, Tapes, Levelling tools).
Competencies
Ability to cope with pressure.
Ability to read and speak English.
Ability to read and understand drawings and assembling instructions.
Good leadership and teamwork skills.
