Position: Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle)
Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults in heavy trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Perform maintenance and repair of diesel engines, gearboxes, clutches, differentials, and drive systems.
- Diagnose and repair air brake, hydraulic brake, steering, and suspension systems.
- Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer requirements.
- Repair or replace damaged engine components, belts, hoses, bearings, filters, and seals.
- Conduct engine overhauling and major mechanical repairs when required.
- Troubleshoot overheating, oil leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, and performance issues.
- Inspect and maintain fuel injection, cooling, lubrication, and exhaust systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify mechanical problems.
- Conduct road tests and final inspections after completing repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, spare parts, and inspection findings.
- Report major defects and spare-part requirements to the supervisor.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment properly.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe.
Requirements
- ITI, Diploma, or technical certification in Automobile Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Truck or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
- Strong experience working with heavy trucks, trailers, buses, or commercial vehicles.
- Good knowledge of diesel engines, transmission, clutch, braking, suspension, and steering systems.
- Experience in engine overhauling and major mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read technical manuals and understand mechanical drawings.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and workshop machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
