Job
Purpose
Ensuring students’ success and helping them reach their full potential by implementing the SABIS curriculum, philosophy, and teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching classes using provided lesson plans, developing plans as needed, and teaching using the SABIS point system.
Marking exams according to the schedule and material provided.
Discussing disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD).
Implementing the SABIS Point System to create a conducive learning environment.
Proctoring exams and managing the test environment.
Supporting low-performing students through guidance and motivation.
Preparing students for external exams, including reviewing previous exams.
Assisting with duties such as testing, substituting, organizing student activities, and administrative tasks.
Participating in student life events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
Attending training sessions to enhance understanding of the SABIS system.
Performing other tasks as delegated by school management.
Ideal Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
Proficient in English.
At least 1 year of teaching experience.
Professional and ethical conduct.
Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills.
