About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Mathematics and proven experience teaching Grade 10 and Grade 12 students under CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, A,AS levels. The candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality education, fostering critical thinking and helping students achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grade 10 and Grade 12 students.
- Teach Mathematics in accordance with CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, or AP curriculum guidelines.
- Explain mathematical concepts using practical examples and interactive teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, worksheets, assignments, quizzes, and examination papers.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student understanding and academic progress.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide remedial support where required.
- Monitor and maintain student attendance, academic records, and performance reports.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Utilize digital learning platforms and educational technology to enhance classroom instruction.
- Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning among students.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, academic coordinators, and parents to support student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, curriculum planning, and school events.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes, teaching methodologies, and educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
- Proven experience teaching Grade 10 and Grade 12 students.
- Experience with CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, or AP curriculum is preferred.
- Experience preparing students for board examinations is highly desirable.
