We are looking for a Material Engineer to join our team for high-profile construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring material compliance, approvals, and timely coordination to support successful project delivery.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Review and manage material submittals in line with project specifications and contract requirements
• Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, specifications, and approved standards
• Coordinate with consultants/PMC for material approvals and closure of technical comments
• Maintain and update material submittal logs and tracking systems
• Liaise with procurement and site teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance of materials
• Verify technical data sheets, test reports, certifications, and samples prior to submission
• Monitor approved materials to ensure proper implementation on site
• Support in resolving material-related technical issues and NCRs
• Ensure compliance with authority requirements (e.g., ADCD, local regulations)
🔹 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or related discipline
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction/material engineering
• Strong knowledge of material submittals, QA/QC procedures, and project specifications
• Proven experience in handling consultant/PMC approvals and coordination
• Familiarity with platforms such as Asite, ACC, or similar systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Experience in large-scale projects
• Knowledge of authority approval processes (ADCD, ADM, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple material packages (Architectural, Civil, MEP)
