The Role
Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well-experienced Materials Coordinator to join their team in Dubai to work on high-profile new build projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Materials Coordinator working on high-profile projects in the UAE, with preference given to those with prior experience working for recognized Main Contracting Companies.
This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract position employed as an outsource candidate through J10 Consulting. There is an option at 6 months to transfer to staff if it suits all parties.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movement. Monitor and track orders to prevent delays and shortages. Collaborate with the procurement team to source new suppliers and negotiate pricing. Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity. Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval of materials. Prepare and submit reports on
inventory management
and material usage.
Work with production teams to ensure materials are available for production schedules. Implement best practices for inventory control and
material handling
. Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding material requirements and availability. Â Requirements Material Coordinator
Experience:
Degree or Diploma in related field. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in
inventory management
software and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent
communication
