Key Responsibilities
- The Materials Control Manager is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide materials planning strategies to support production schedules and business objectives.
- The role oversees demand planning, inventory optimization, SAP master data governance, BOM readiness, shortage management, and supply chain performance.
- Working closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Commercial teams, to ensure material availability, improve planning accuracy, and lead a high-performing materials management team while driving continuous process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in materials management, production planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment with minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP MM/PP (or equivalent ERP systems), including MRP, inventory planning, and procurement processes.
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory optimization, BOM management, and materials planning in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification such as APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or CIPS is preferred.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, UAV, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries is an advantage.
