Overview of the role:
The Master Technician is responsible for carrying out accurate advanced diagnosis and effective complex repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment. The role aims to provide completecustomer satisfactionwhile adhering to relevant quality and safety standards.
What you will do:
Perform advanced diagnosis to troubleshoot and fault find, followed by effective repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
Commission and deliver machines, and carry out machine familiarization.
Overhaul engines, chassis, and transmission/driveline.
Conduct air conditioning repair and periodic maintenance.
Operate lifts, tools, and related workshop equipment.
Undertake computer-based self-learning and instructor-led training for product awareness.
Drive vehicles safely inside the workshop and follow workshop health & safety, ISO regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Required skills to be successful:
Advanced Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of experience.
Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine principles.
Knowledge of warranty terms and conditions, Volvo tooth system, filters, and lubricants.
Ability to overhaul engines, transmission/drive lines, and hydraulic components.
Proficiency in installing and servicing air conditioning units.
Goodcommunication skills(both written and verbal).
Basic computer skills.
Strongcustomer relationshipskills.

You will be part of the Service department, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor or Workshop Manager. The team is dedicated to providing high-quality service and ensuringcustomer satisfactionthrough effective repairs and maintenance.
