Location: Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia
Scope:
Control the Refining operations through conducting operational and economical analyses and utilizing mass balance equations to evaluate the monitoring data and compare inputs and outputs.
JD:
1. Validate and review the daily Mass Balance and provide corrections and amendments in case of discrepancies found in daily mass balance and weekly loss report.
2. Utilize Mass Balance software tools and ensure the publication of accurate, error-free Mass Balance on a day-to-day basis.
3. Review and spot check monthly Mass Balance and route the same for hierarchal management approval.
4. Follow-up on changes in the Refinery links, like tank to tank or tank to unit, and create new permanent links in the Mass Balance tool.
5. Ensure maintaining up-to-date mass balance graph representing the actual use of the Refinery piping, tank farms, and logistics means (imports and exports).
6. Review fuel balance sheet on a weekly basis and establish loss report for the whole Refinery. Develop flare, flare liquids and slops reports.
7. Assist in establishing EII for fuel gas and liquid fuel monthly balances based on data originated from Process Engineering, including fuel, fuel-gas and steam balances.
8. Participate in assessing forecast results accuracy through the comparison between price forecasts and actual prices on a monthly basis, and reporting outcomes during the monthly meeting.
Degree:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
