Role Description The Masons role at BESTON ENGINEERING STEEL LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The mason will perform brickwork, stonework, and cement-based tasks on structural and finishing projects, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing surfaces and materials, mixing and applying cement and mortar, laying bricks and blocks, constructing and repairing walls and other structures, and carrying out renovations as needed.
The mason will work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete assigned tasks on schedule, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in masonry, including experience with brickwork and stonework.
- Knowledge of working with cement, mortar preparation, and application for structural and finishing works.
- Experience in renovation work, including repairs, modifications, and restorations of existing structures.
- Ability to read basic drawings or instructions and follow layout, alignment, and measurement requirements.
- Understanding of construction site safety practices and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Prior experience as a mason in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in various outdoor conditions.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a diverse team and follow supervisor guidance.
