Masonry Technician
Responsibilities
- Carry out masonry works including blockwork, brickwork, plastering, screeding, and minor concrete repairs.
- Construct and repair walls, partitions, curbs, foundations, and other masonry structures.
- Prepare mortar, cement, and other materials according to required specifications.
- Perform surface preparation, leveling, alignment, and finishing works.
- Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Repair cracks, damaged plaster, tiles, and other masonry finishes as required.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of masonry tools and equipment.
- Follow site HSE, PTW, and work safety requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Masonry Technician, preferably in the Oil & Gas or industrial sector.
- Trade Certificate / ITI / Technical qualification in Masonry or Civil works preferred.
- Hands-on experience in blockwork, plastering, screeding, concrete repair, and finishing works.
- Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Good knowledge of cement, mortar, blocks, and masonry materials.
- Skilled in using masonry hand tools and related equipment.
- Experience in shutdown, maintenance, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
- Good understanding of HSE and safe work practices.
- Immediate availability preferred.
