Role Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and professional Kids’ Martial Arts Coaches to deliver exceptional, structured, and engaging training sessions across multiple disciplines. The successful candidates will play a key role in developing young athletes within a safe, disciplined, and high performance environment, while maintaining world class coaching and safeguarding standards.
Disciplines Required-
We are hiring coaches with specialization in one or more of the following:
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
- Muay Thai
- Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
- Boxing
- Taekwondo
- Karate
Key Responsibilities-
1. Coaching & Delivery
- Deliver high quality, structured, and engaging sessions for children across various age groups and skill levels
- Apply age appropriate coaching methods that balance discipline, fun, and development
- Implement structured progression pathways, grading systems, and skill development plans
- Ensure sessions are safe, technically sound, and aligned with academy standards
2. Child Engagement & Development
- Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive learning environment
- Build confidence, discipline, and teamwork in young participants
- Monitor individual progress and provide constructive feedback
- Adapt coaching styles to suit different learning abilities and personalities
3. Safeguarding & Safety
- Adhere strictly to all child safeguarding policies and procedures
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times
- Maintain appropriate behaviour, boundaries, and professionalism with children
- Report and document any incidents in line with safeguarding protocols
4. Parent Interaction
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding progress, behaviour, and development
- Support onboarding of new students and explain program structure
- Handle queries and feedback with professionalism and clarity
5. Professional Standards
- Maintain a high level of discipline, punctuality, and presentation
- Represent the academy in a professional manner at all times
- Participate in internal training, meetings, and development sessions
Candidate Requirements-
Experience
- Proven experience coaching children in martial arts (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
- Experience in delivering structured classes, group coaching, and progression systems
- Competitive experience in martial arts is highly desirable
Qualifications
- Minimum Black Belt (or equivalent advanced level) in relevant discipline
- Recognised coaching certification (preferred)
- Valid Safeguarding / Child Protection certification (mandatory or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid / CPR certification (preferred)
