Shuggr (سكر) is an online social network empowering the gay and trans community. We connect hundreds of thousands of users daily.
Position:
Marketing Strategist
You will help accelerate our growth in key Middle Eastern markets such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Turkey.

Your role
Create marketing plans and sales strategies for our key markets
Build strategic partnerships with local organizations and businesses
Act as a liaison between local user needs and product development
Become the go-to expert for our key markets

Your profile
Understand the needs of the gay and transgender communities in the Middle East
Proficiency in or native fluency in Arabic and Turkish
Entrepreneurial growth mindset with a hands-on attitude
Education and experience in marketing
Ability to envision and lead change
Willingness to own problems and adapt to ambiguity
Passion for building a connecting, encouraging, and inspiring product
Interest in empowering the gay and transgender communities
Availability for at least 20 hours per week
While not required to be an expert in all areas, you should be able to engage in informed conversations and research unfamiliar topics.
