HV Engineer – Commissioning & Testing Support
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced HV Engineer with a proven track record of over 10 years in commissioning and testing for power generation and storage projects. The HV Engineer will be responsible for conducting technical reviews, overseeing commissioning tests, and providing expert evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Witnessing and supervising HV commissioning tests at project sites, including Power Generation (CCGT, OCGT, Solar PV, Wind) and Battery Storage facilities.
Preparing Test Findings Reports, including a summary of test reports, test descriptions, data collection, and analysis.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant contractual and technical standards.
Conducting independent expert reviews and providing recommendations.
Analyzing test data and validating results.
Reviewing and providing comments on test results submitted by the EPC contractor.
Identifying and reporting any site observations or issues during testing.
Coordinating with the project team to ensure access and permits are obtained as required, including CICPA passes for restricted areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commissioning and testing for HV systems in power generation projects.
Proven expertise in HV equipment, systems, and operations.
Strong understanding of technical standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Available for on-site work in Abu Dhabi during the commissioning phase.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
