Estimator – Elegant Qubes Decoration
Are you a seasoned Civil Engineer with a knack for precision and a passion for delivering excellence in fit-out and renovation projects? Elegant Qubes Decoration is seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team, specializing in commercial and residential projects, including landscaping and pool installations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Subcontracting & Consultation:** Leverage your experience in subcontracting and consultancy to manage high-quality vendor lists, ensuring top-tier project outcomes.
– **On-Site Measurement & QS Expertise:** Conduct accurate on-site measurements and apply your Quantity Surveying (QS) expertise to provide precise cost estimates and budgeting.
– **Negotiation & Budget Control:** Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers, maintain budget control, and oversee costing to optimize project efficiency.
– **Contracts & Procurement:** Draft and manage contracts, including payment terms with suppliers. Ensure procurement of the best market rates, with final approvals handled by office administration and clients.
– **Project Coordination:** Collaborate with site engineers, architectural designers, and the site team to align project plans with execution. Display sample boards to clients, ensuring project vision alignment.
– **Mystery Shopping & Prebid Tenders:** Conduct mystery shopping and manage prebid tenders to ensure competitive pricing and project success.
– **Project Management:** Ensure adherence to approved project management standards, overseeing the entire lifecycle from estimation to completion.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in fit-out, renovation, commercial, and residential projects.
– Proven experience with landscaping and pool projects.
– Strong background in subcontracting, consultancy, and vendor management.
– Expertise in Quantity Surveying, budget control, and costing.
– Excellent negotiation skills and experience with procurement and contracts.
– Ability to coordinate effectively with on-site teams and designers.
– Proficient in project management with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
