The Marketing & Communication Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the marketing department. This role ensures the efficient management of files, vendor coordination, event organization, communication campaigns, and social media updates while assisting in project coordination and department activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the marketing department, ensuring smooth daily operations and improved team efficiency.
Organize and maintain department files for easy access and workflow optimization.
Manage branded stationery inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and consistent branding.
Maintain the company’s photo library and intranet, ensuring assets are updated and readily available.
Follow up on department projects, ensuring timely progress and meeting required outcomes.
Assist in preparing presentations to effectively communicate key marketing messages.
Support the organization of corporate events and execution of communication campaigns.
Document team meetings by taking minutes and ensuring accurate records of discussions and decisions.
Coordinate with external vendors to facilitate the timely production and delivery of marketing materials.
Monitor and update social media platforms to enhance digital communication efforts and audience engagement.
Contribute to the development and execution of the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Prepare reports on marketing activities, providing insights on performance and supporting decision-making.
Handle incoming communication and inquiries related to marketing projects, ensuring timely responses and proper coordination.
Implement the Marketing Department’s policies and procedures and adhere to company-wide regulations.
Perform additional work-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
Arabic speaker is preferred.
