As a Digital Marketing Generalist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimising online marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Your role involves a balanced mix of strategy, execution, and analysis across a variety of digital channels.
Key responsibilities
1. Campaign management
Develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (including email, social media, SEO, PPC, and display advertising).
Work closely with creative teams to produce on-brand content and assets.
2. Analytics and reporting
Track and analyse campaign performance using platforms such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing tools.
Provide regular reports, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
3. SEO and website optimisation
Conduct keyword research, optimise website content, and ensure on-page and technical SEO best practices.
Collaborate with web developers to maintain website performance and implement necessary optimisations.
4. Social Media and content
Manage social media channels, plan and schedule content, and engage with the online community.
Work with content creators to ensure consistent branding, tone, and messaging across platforms.
5. Paid advertising
Set up and manage paid campaigns on Google Ads, social media platforms, and other relevant networks.
Optimise targeting, bidding, and ad creative to maximise ROI.
6. Email marketing
Design and distribute email campaigns, segment audiences, and track performance.
Use A/B testing to refine email strategies and enhance open and click-through rates.
7. Market research and strategy
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new digital tools or platforms.
Use findings to propose new initiatives and improve existing marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
Strong understanding of SEO, Google Ads, social media advertising, and email marketing platforms.
Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, data dashboards).
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
