The Position

The Marketing Research Specialist plays a critical role in providing actionable insights to support marketing and business decisions across the Novo Nordisk portfolio. This position will lead the development and execution of market research studies to understand patient needs, physician prescribing behaviors, competitive landscapes, and market trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, research methodologies, and data analysis techniques.

Among your responsibilities, you will:

Lead the development and execution of market research studies, such as preparing clear and concise reports that communicate research findings and their implications, designing and implementing research methodologies.

Provide market insights to marketing and brand teams, developing and presenting actionable insights to inform product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales strategies.

Monitor industry trends in market research and healthcare, exploring and implementing new research methodologies and technologies.

Build and maintain relationships with external research vendors and consultants.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

On top of what we would expect:

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in market research, business intelligence, or data analysis within the pharmaceutical or healthcare landscape.

Strong experience in pharmaceutical market dynamics, including patient journey analysis, sales trends, and prescription data.

Proven experience using competitive intelligence tools (e.g., IQVIA) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power

BI, Tableau).

Familiarity with research methodologies, statistical analysis tools, and advanced analytics techniques.

Experience in managing market research projects, including vendor selection, stakeholder management, and project delivery.

Fluency in English.

You have proficiency in data visualization and storytelling to effectively communicate findings todiversestakeholders, with the ability to influencecross-functional teamsand collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Medical, etc.) and external vendors.
