We are currently seeking an experienced “Manager Supplier Quality” to join our team at the corporate level to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing Manufacturing quality plans /testing procedures /Type test reports for various packages.
Experience: 5 years to 10 Years
Qualification: B.E in Electrical
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Quality
Review of Manufacturing quality plans /testing procedures /Type test reports for various packages.
Visit suppliers for witnessing factory acceptance tests (Need basis)
Formalized and establish TPIA agency contracts for inspection to ensure timely inspections within optimum cost.
Visit suppliers for audits and qualification process
Coordinate and ensure suppliers performance evaluation.
Support and guide project supplier quality leads for implementation of product quality process and issue resolution
Conduct RCA for supplier quality issues and implement CAPA.
Visit site locations for conducting internal audits
Preparation of standard Manufacturing quality plan for key equipment’s.
Inspection coordination
Submission of monthly MIS
Coordinate and organize Kick off meetings with suppliers and clients for critical packages.
Organize and facilitate product trainings for team members
Support Product quality leads (Sites) for preparation and submission of Quality dossiers
Attending product quality review meetings with SCM and project team members.
Technical Oversight:
Must be aware of Renewable/EPC business functioning
Must be aware of supplier/subcontractor qualification process. Performance evaluation process
Knowledge of various international standards required for quality management system
Knowledge of various IECS /IEEE standards from business perspective
Experience in testing and Quality at Manufacturing plant level for transformers/inverters etc will be advantage
Knowledge of preparation of field quality plans /method statement /Project quality plans.
Must have executed international projects
Stakeholder Management:
Requires coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Well conversant in English and Chinese
Team Leadership:
Identify training needs and promote skill development among team members.
Must be capable of handling multi culture and diverse location team
Must be team player
Operational Efficiency:
Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation in supplier monitoring process.
Preferred Experience:
EPC organization (Renewable energy /OHTL/Substation business)
Experience in Manufacturing plant for QA/QC activities for transformers/inverters
