Project Management Office Manager (PMO)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Management Office Manager to lead the planning and execution of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, overseeing execution plans, managing budgets, handling contracts, and ensuring that projects meet their objectives within the allocated timeline and budget, while adhering to operational and quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Project Management Office (PMO) in alignment with company objectives.

Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring the timely availability of financial, human, and technical resources within budget constraints.

Manage contracts and project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards.

Supervise the analysis and evaluation of tenders and bids and coordinate the preparation of technical and financial proposals with relevant departments.

Monitor project financial requests via the ERP system, ensuring proper cost center allocations and document verification.

Prepare performance reports, risk management reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success factors reports, and present them to senior management.

Coordinate with legal advisors in case of contract disputes and legal risk management.

Collaborate with Operations, Projects and Installations Departments to ensure execution aligns with quality standards, project scope, and specifications.

Contribute to enhancing the company’s image by preparing presentations and project profile documents.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

·      Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering project management.

·      PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

·      Proven experience in managing and leading large-scale projects.

·      Strong knowledge of contract management and financial administration within the manufacturing sector.

·      Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, such as MS Project Management / Primavera.

·      Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
