JOB PURPOSE:
To manage, formulate and execute Nadec Agriculture projects, measuring and driving the successful execution of agriculture-related projects under the Strategy sector. Based in Hail, responsible for project governance, alignment with corporate strategy, stakeholder management, and performance tracking to ensure that agriculture projects contribute effectively to long-term business goals and operational excellence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Core Accountabilities
Project Governance
Develop PMO framework, policies, procedures, forms, templates, tools, to ensure all project with Nadec follow the same documentation, and same standards.
Plan PMO cycle in alignment with strategy and budgeting.
Facilitate and enable project management to manage the change as a result of the projects.
Support Nadec project managers to stay on track; by providing a clear focus and maintaining alignment with Nadec both short-term and long-term objectives.
Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and keep abreast of PMO industry trends.
Design, test, implement, and maintain all portfolio templates and process workflows to support the delivery of program/project management methodology.
Establish and maintain structured PMO processes, tools, and governance models tailored to the Strategy function.
Ensure all agricultural initiatives under the PMO are reviewed, tracked, and reported with high accuracy and transparency.
Enforce project methodology standards across all agriculture-related strategic initiatives.
Strategic Project Management:
Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic agricultural projects aligned with NADEC’s long-term objectives.
Develop project charters, define KPIs, and ensure alignment with the company’s growth and sustainability agenda.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project execution meets both operational needs and strategic priorities.
Portfolio & Program Oversight:
Manage a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary agricultural projects, such as precision farming, water resource optimization, climate-smart agriculture, or land utilization strategies.
Prioritize projects based on strategic value, feasibility, and resource availability.
Monitor project dependencies, risks, and interconnections within the strategy roadmap.
Relationship Management:
Engage regularly with senior leadership, strategy heads, and agriculture executives to ensure continuous alignment of projects with corporate goals.
Provide clear, concise communication on project progress, risks, and outcomes to all levels of stakeholders.
Manage and maintain strong relationships and interactions with internal and external stakeholders/vendors to ensure alignment and achievement of projects outcome
Enable and train Nadec team with project management tools and best practices to improve their skills
Performance Monitoring & Strategic Impact:
Define and track strategic performance indicators and ensure delivery of measurable business impact.
Conduct project reviews, benefit realization tracking, and post-implementation evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Engineering, or Business Strategy.
Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related field is a plus.
PMP, PgMP, or relevant project/program management certification is highly preferred.
Experience:
5-7 years’ relevant experience in Project management & planning
Relevant experience shall be based on project management requirements.
