Position:  Manager, Learning & Development- Behavioral Learning (UAE National)

Lead the creation and implementation of a behaviorallearning and developmentstrategy at all levels that complements people’s journey and experience at Mashreq.

Key Result Areas:

Support the execution of a holistic behavioral learning strategy that meets the bank’s aspiration in becoming an employer of choice and recognized globally.

Support the development and implementation of effective programs, behavioral curriculums, and technology-enabledlearning and developmentsolutions for all functions in the bank.

Develop/implement a learning strategy aimed at meeting our clients’ needs.

Work across and collaborate with the L&D team to plan for behavioral and technology learning globally that is executed at the assigned cluster level.

Act as an engaged member of the ICODleadershipteam, providing thoughtleadershipand representing the function to the bank internally and externally.

L&D Design, Delivery, & ROI

Lead partnering with the GH, PABPs, and divisional SMEs on conducting a proactive development needs assessment for behavioral learning needs and formulating relevant andimpactfullearning curriculums at all levels as an outcome.

Engage Unit and Group heads in assigned geography in developing and promoting online synchronous and asynchronous behavioral learning interventions to meet business needs and related development needs of their group/unit employees.

Develop and deliver need-based competency development and soft skills programs.

Deliver and lead selectiveleadership developmentmodules and people-related trainings as part of wider PICG mandate.

Create, design, and lead the delivery of the assigned Learning Pathways and programs includingleadership& management development across all locations.

Create, design, and run assessment/development centers and 360 guidance at assigned locations as and when needed.

Deliver an engaging andimpactfulinduction program for assigned region to support with best-in-class onboarding experience journey.

Source, onboard, and liaise with approved External Training Providers to arrange need-based training inputs not available internally within the bank.

Develop/facilitate online content creation in-house that meets business training needs.

Ensure that ROI and impact of alllearning and developmentactivity & programs is actively measured.

Administration & Governance:

Maintain proactive relationships with stakeholders on all behavioral learning plans, reviews, and updates on an ongoing basis. Leading business-led discussions on how learning is designed to support the delivery of the business plan and goals.

Report thelearning and developmentmetrics tosenior managementand regulatory authorities such as the Central Bank, Internal Audit, and Compliance departments to track completion, performance, and effectiveness ofLearning and Developmentfunction of the bank.

Ensure compliance with thelearning and developmentprocesses and policies for thelearning and developmentservices offered by the L&D team.

Direct and oversee the administration and maintenance of the learning calendar to ensure consistent delivery oflearning and developmentservices attending classroom trainings.

Manage the Learning Management System for the assigned locations to ensure availability and consistent delivery ofLearning and Developmentmandate to employees.
