About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join the Front Office -Guest Relations team at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Oversee pre-arrival coordination for VIP1 and VIP2 guests, ensuring preferences and requirements are met, and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure a seamless experience. Recognize all repeat and important guests, and builds rapport in order to develop personal guest contact, obtain preferences and proactively anticipate guest needs and requirements.

Lead and develop the team, ensuring high guest satisfaction, efficient operations, and adherence to Jumeirah and LQA standards.

Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively.

Monitor VIP suite arrivals and departures, ensuring all requirements are met, and conduct VIP courtesy visits or calls as needed for enhanced guest experience.

Organize and manage special events, including kids’ activities and seasonal celebrations (e.g., Christmas, New Year, Easter), including planning, budgeting, and liaising with suppliers.

Maintain open line of communication and ensures guest complaints are logged and feedbacks are handled effectively and efficiently by supervising team members, delegating responsibilities and liaising with other related departments.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Guest Services/Front Desk Manager in a 5-star environment 

Experience working in a multi-cultural environment 

5 Years experience in a middle management role in a 5 Star Hotel (Desirable)

An additional language: Arabic, Russian, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese. (Desirable)
