About the Company

Our client is a leading bank in the region with a mandate to hire a specialist Manager – FTP Control within their Group Finance division. This is a high-ownership, technically demanding role sitting at the intersection of Treasury, Finance, and Risk — responsible for the end-to-end management of the bank’s Funds Transfer Pricing framework and system. The role plays a critical part in pricing discipline, profitability analysis, and ALCO decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the end-to-end FTP process, ensuring full adherence to the bank’s approved FTP Policy and governance framework
  • Act as business owner of the FTP system, including system configuration, curve construction, product mapping, and parameter maintenance
  • Coordinate with IT, vendors, and external consultants to implement system enhancements and ensure data integrity
  • Manage the monthly FTP production run end-to-end — ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and robust reconciliations and controls
  • Provide FTP insights and analysis to ALCO, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Business teams to support pricing and balance sheet decisions
  • Partner with business units to explain FTP impacts on product and customer profitability
  • Act as the key point of contact for Internal Audit, External Audit, and Regulators on all FTP-related matters
  • Periodically review and recommend enhancements to the FTP methodology to reflect changes in balance sheet structure, market conditions, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

* 5–6 years of relevant experience in banking with strong exposure to Funds Transfer Pricing, ALM, Treasury, or Balance Sheet Management

* Hands-on experience with FTP systems and methodologies (system configuration, curve construction, product mapping)

* Strong understanding of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and funding economics

* Experience engaging with ALCO, Internal Audit, External Audit, and/or Regulators on FTP matters

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline

* Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership in a structured environment

Position open to international candidates.
