Job Responsibilities
Manage all GTB projects, including new system developments, upgrades, innovation projects, and implementations, ensuring effective execution and timely delivery.
Coordinate effectively between GTB products, channels teams, and other stakeholders such as IT, operations, and relevant units.
Oversee project preparation and implementation at all levels, ensuring requirements like BRS and FSD reviews are met, resources are allocated, and activities such as UAT, migrations, reviews, and client communications are conducted smoothly.
Work closely with GTB units and other departments to ensure projects are effective, efficient, and meet deadlines and specifications.
Develop and implement policies, standards, systems, and procedures in line with QNB guidelines, external regulations, and market standards, ensuring adherence daily.
Provide insights on product development based on market research and customer feedback.
Build strategic relationships internally and externally to enhance QNB’s Global Corporate Banking business.
Manage daily activities of the unit, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Assess project complexity and feasibility, advising on solutions that meet client requirements.
Provide technical support for complex projects and assist the business with technical challenges.
Collaborate in product and sales stages for transaction banking, electronic banking, or internet-based initiatives from initiation to launch.
Adhere to delegated powers and QNB policies.
Identify and develop internal control systems to address weaknesses.
Assign responsibilities to team members and manage performance according to goals and targets.
Qualifications & Experience
University degree (BA or MBA), preferably in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or IT;
Master’s preferred. Project management certification is a plus.
Minimum of 6 years’ relevant banking experience, ideally in a highly rated international bank focusing on projects, products, or systems management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant programming languages and risk management practices.
Proven project management skills.
Understanding of trade services laws, regulations, and banking industry practices.
Strong understanding of corporate banking customer needs and expectations.
Familiarity with the balanced scorecard approach.
Exceptional financial planning, budgeting, and modeling skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant applications.
Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
