Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, results-driven Business Manager to support our dynamic, fast-growing crypto exchange. This individual will work closely with the Department Head to ensure seamless execution of department-wide initiatives, optimize business operations, and drive cross-functional alignment.
Responsibilities
Leadership Support & Decision-Making
- Provide direct support to Department Head by preparing data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and presentations to guide decision-making
- Own the day-to-day operations of the company, supporting Department Head in ensuring that teams are effectively executing on their responsibilities
- Handle the calendar of Department Head, and help prioritize the most important meetings and activities
Strategic Execution & Alignment
- Collaborate with Department Head to define and prioritize department-wide business goals and objectives
- Ensure that teams across the department are aligned with the company’s strategic direction, driving key initiatives to meet business targets
- Develop and track metrics (OKRs/KPIs) to monitor progress, ensuring that initiatives are moving forward and achieving desired outcomes
Cross-Functional Coordination and Communications
- Manage leadership meetings, prepare presentations, and assist in crafting internal and external communications on behalf of the Department Head
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments (Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, etc.) to ensure the smooth execution of business initiatives
- Act as a key liaison between Department Head and teams to ensure projects are aligned with broader business objectives and are executed efficiently
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Identify and drive improvements to business processes that enhance operational effectiveness across the organization
- Streamline workflows to reduce inefficiencies, mitigate bottlenecks, and improve overall productivity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, or a related field; prior exposure to fintech, cryptocurrency, or a technology-driven environment is highly preferred
- Fresh graduates or with no more than 2 years of full-time work experience are welcome
- Strong ability to think strategically while executing tactically, effectively balancing long-term objectives with day-to-day operational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills, with strong empathy, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficiency in English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- This is a 6-month contract role (remote), with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance
