Job Title: Male Watchman
Department: Security
Reports To: Security Supervisor / Factory Manager
Job Summary
The Male Watchman is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the factory premises, employees, visitors, equipment, and company assets. He ensures that only authorized personnel have access to the facility and promptly reports any security or safety concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Guard the factory entrance and exit points.
- Verify the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors before allowing entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the factory buildings, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security equipment where applicable.
- Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the factory when required.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and incidents.
- Report suspicious activities, accidents, security incidents, or safety hazards immediately.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents.
- Assist in enforcing factory rules, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Ensure gates, doors, windows, and other access points are properly secured during and after working hours.
- Cooperate with emergency services and law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a watchman, security guard, or in a similar role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Honest, reliable, disciplined, and professional.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
