About the role

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This role performs complex diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs, ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and document findings.

• Replace or fabricate parts as needed.

• Maintain tools and ensure safe working conditions.

• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.

• Train and support junior mechanics.

• Follow safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Vocational training (or equivalent experience) and relevant work experience in a similar role required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.

• Experience with industrial machinery and tools.

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance procedures.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
