The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum fleet availability, optimizing maintenance costs, improving workshop performance, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety, quality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all fleet maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize vehicle availability and operational efficiency.
- Supervise workshop operations and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance KPIs to improve fleet reliability.
- Manage relationships with external workshops, suppliers, and service providers.
- Control maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer recommendations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate closely with Fleet Operations and other departments to support business objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance and recommend continuous improvements.
