Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for factory machinery, equipment, electrical systems, and facilities. The successful candidate will ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently while minimizing production downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Lead maintenance technicians and coordinate repair work.
- Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery, welding machines, cranes, compressors, cutting machines, and other workshop equipment.
- Identify equipment faults and arrange timely repairs.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
- Coordinate with Production and Factory teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, spare parts, and equipment.
- Enforce company HSE procedures and safe working practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a Foreman/Supervisory role.
- Experience in steel fabrication, construction, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery and equipment.
- GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
