Job Purpose:
The maintenance engineering manager will be a part of the Cooperative engineering and Maintenance team and will be responsible for being the MEP, FLS and refrigeration systems technical maintenance expert.
Functional Accountabilities:
Technical resource for the MEP and refrigeration infrastructure systems and equipment, with an emphasis on practical/field application.
Audit and ensure compliance with the engineering data systems.
Oversees procedures related to activities of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of MEP infrastructure systems and equipment’s.
Communicate with stakeholders to track FLS (Fire,Life,Safety) works, conformity certificates in the stores and compliance with SBC and civil defense.
• Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) provisions related to construction, retrofit projects & maintenance activity.
Participate in root cause analysis activities in area of expertise.
Oversight of Energy Quality management programs.
Review and analyze equipment’s maintenance data and conduct site engineering studies to determine the feasibility of introducing modifications to increase reliability and efficiency.
Review, discuss and provide feedback for Technical Scope of Works and activities, related to new project or Projects impacting on current operation sustainability.
Conducting Walkthroughs and reviews, for new or ongoing projects, and providing feedback and snag list, based on technical knowledge relevant to SOW, and SBC’s.
Communicate with stakeholders about the impact of market change and potential effects on engineering design and development. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks.
Other duties as required to support the operation of the organization.
Education, Experience & Skills:
5-8 years’ experience.
Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
Experience in CAD drawing.
Significant experience in comprehending MEP plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings.
Working knowledge of critical facility operations with experience or understanding of procedure-based work.
Working knowledge of Building Management and control systems.
Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Mandatory).
English and Arabic language (Written & Spoken).
