Maintenance Engineer/Asset Integrity Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Nakilat

Position: Maintenance Engineer (Asset Integrity)

The Maintenance Engineer (AI) is responsible for monitoring assets in line with the Asset Integrity Management System Procedure. This includes ensuring the integrity of plant, facilities, utilities, mobility, civil, and marine infrastructures within the NKOM yard. The role also involves the continual review and improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs). All monitoring activities shall adhere to industry best practices and comply fully with company HSSEQ requirements.

Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

Implement Asset Integrity policies and procedures for all NKOM yard equipment.

Conduct IIR / RCA reports for incidents, accidents, damages, and breakdowns.

Perform inspections, condition monitoring, data review, and analysis.

Provide monthly asset integrity status reports.

Identify root causes of asset integrity deterioration.

Suggest improvements and coordinate management approvals.

Review maintenance works and reports; perform gap analysis to enhance maintenance regimes and plans (Predictive, Proactive, Preventive, and Condition-Based Maintenance).

Assist in developing maintenance strategies to reduce failure rates and improve KPIs.

Prepare IIR / RCA reports with proposals for corrective and preventive actions, ensuring lessons learned are documented.

Support the optimization of PM&S SAP plans for various maintenance activities.

Support cost optimization for maintenance activities.

Recommend best maintenance practices and technologies, coordinating their implementation.

Coordinate with authorities for MOC approvals for system and structural changes.

Communicate training needs and process improvements, and follow up on their implementation.

Demonstrate behaviors aligned with company values and comply with policies and legal requirements.

Adhere to health, safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures.

Ensure quality management procedures are followed to deliver high-quality services and products.

Report safety lapses and perform other assigned duties.

Interactions and Working Relations

Internal: All P&M staff, operations sections, HSSEQ sections within N-KOM.

External: Asset Integrity Management Consultants, CBM Consultants, and external service providers.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Qualifications:

Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (minimum 4 years).

Experience:

At least 10 years in relevant roles such as Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Knowledge of fault finding, troubleshooting, condition monitoring, and CBM for various systems.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Knowledge of electro-mechanical repairs, risk assessments, work instructions, PTW, and LOTO systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reports and presentations.
