Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled PU Painter to apply high-quality polyurethane coatings to various surfaces, including wood, metal, and drywall. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent painting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare surfaces: Clean, sand, and prime surfaces as necessary to ensure proper adhesion and finish.
2. Apply PU coatings: Use specialized equipment and techniques to apply high-quality PU coatings to various surfaces.
3. Achieve high-quality finish: Ensure a smooth, even, and consistent finish, meeting quality standards and customer expectations.
4. Work safely: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
5. Collaborate with team: Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including carpenters, joiners, and other painters.
6. Meet deadlines: Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
1. Experience: 2+ years of experience as a PU Painter in the construction industry.
2. Training: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent training in PU painting.
3. Knowledge: Understanding of PU coating materials, application techniques, and safety protocols.
4. Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work at heights (if required).
5. Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as OSHA or equivalent.
