Position Overview
Qatar Airways is recruiting a Maintenance Delivery Manager in Doha, Qatar to lead airport facilities maintenance, asset management strategy, and outsourced service delivery. This senior facilities management role ensures all aviation infrastructure assets are maintained to international 5-star operational standards while meeting safety, performance, and ISO compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Asset Management System aligned with ISO 55001 standards
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across airport facilities, hangars, and operational buildings
- Manage outsourced maintenance contracts and in-house technical teams to ensure service excellence
- Align departmental KPIs with stakeholder requirements through structured communication forums
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and facility performance
- Review contract scope, commercial value, and service output to ensure best value delivery
- Oversee electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance programs across airport infrastructure
- Ensure safe and effective maintenance of 400
Hz power systems and critical airport utilities
- Coordinate HVAC, hangar door systems, roofing, and structural maintenance projects
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, aviation regulations, and corporate performance objectives
Ideal Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Facilities Management and airport operations maintenance
- Proven experience managing airport hangars and aviation infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of 400
Hz power systems and electrical distribution networks
- Experience with HVAC systems, hangar doors, and civil maintenance works
- Strong contract management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Excellent leadership and continuous improvement mindset
- Proficient in English language communication
