Machine Operator – Slurry Mixing

About the Role
NFI Middle East FZCO is seeking a Machine Operator – Slurry Mixing to join our production team. We are looking for candidates with previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment who are willing to learn and operate our slurry mixing process.
Experience specifically in slurry mixing is not mandatory—however, applicants must have experience operating industrial or production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate slurry mixing equipment and other production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to production specifications and recipes.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust operating parameters as required.
- Ensure the correct quantity and quality of materials are used during production.
- Carry out basic machine inspections before and after operation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the mixing area and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Record production data and report any machine faults or abnormalities.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, hygiene, and company safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with general production activities when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Plant Operator, or Equipment Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the FMCG, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial production sector is preferred.
- Ability to understand production instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify machine issues.
- Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
- Basic English communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating industrial mixing or processing equipment.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety practices.
- Forklift licence (advantage but not mandatory
