Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fire explosion and loss-prevention studies e g HAZOP QRA fire amp gas mapping as required by the project
- Review process safety and loss-prevention deliverables for compliance with Qatar Energy standards
- Support design reviews and ensure incorporation of loss-prevention recommendations into engineering deliverables
- Provide technical input on fire protection gas detection and emergency shutdown response systems
- Liaise with Qatar Energy loss-prevention department on studies reviews and close-out of actions
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical / Process / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent Minimum 7 10 years Oil & Gas experience Experience in process safety, risk assessment, and loss prevention engineering Knowledge of HAZOP, HAZID, and safety studies preferred
