Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor who can plan, execute, and close jobs efficiently. This is a field-based role requiring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
You will be the main point of contact on-site, responsible for supervising teams, solving technical issues, and ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicle to sites across Dubai (valid UAE driving license required)
- Supervise daily maintenance and site operations
- Lead and manage technicians and labor teams effectively
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently
- Execute and oversee plumbing works, including:
- Leak detection and repair
- Valve and mixer replacement
- Water heater installation
- Drainage and blockage clearing
- Pump and water tank troubleshooting
- Sanitary fixture installation
- Carry out civil works such as blockwork, plastering, tiling, and repairs
- Handle ceiling works (gypsum, false ceilings, patching, finishing)
- Perform basic electrical works safely
- Manage fit-out activities from snagging to project handover
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure proper material planning to avoid delays or repeat trips
- Source materials from local markets (Naif, Deira, Ras Al Khor, etc.) at competitive prices
Planning & Execution Standards
- Plan all jobs in advance (materials, tools, manpower)
- Ensure correct material selection and quality standards
- Maintain strict cost control and avoid wastage
- Execute work in a structured and systematic manner
- Deliver jobs right the first time (no rework or callbacks)
- Identify and resolve issues proactively
- Maintain timelines and avoid delays
Reporting & Cost Control
- Maintain job reports and site documentation
- Track material usage and inventory levels
- Monitor spare parts and stock requirements
- Support cost optimization and operational improvements
- Submit accurate and timely reports to management
Requirements
- Proven UAE experience in:
- Civil works
- MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Building maintenance
- Fit-out works
- Strong hands-on technical skills (especially plumbing)
- Ability to estimate materials and quantities accurately
- Good knowledge of local suppliers and pricing
- Ability to manage teams and multiple jobs efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)
